Full-stack Developer

Are you a full-stack developer that can help us revolutionize healthcare?

At Leviosa, we’re building a new generation of EMR (electronic medical record) software, designed to reduce the 70% of healthcare professionals’ time currently spent behind computer screens and give them more time with their patients.

Founded by a physician and driven by a team combining deep clinical insight with strong technical expertise, Leviosa is on a mission to streamline healthcare workflows and empower providers with smart, human-centered tools. We’re a growing team of 10 based in Smáratorg 3, Kópavogur, and we’re now looking for a full-stack developer to join us on-site.

You will

• Work in close collaboration with the product managers to discuss and reflect on product ideas and implementation, essentially translating product design into working software.
• Work in close collaboration with the development team on building the solution and creating the UI healthcare providers will utilize in their daily job.
• Participate in software development and have an input into shaping the final product.
• Learn how doctors and healthcare providers work with patients and how information technology can optimize their workflow and quality of care provided.

This role may suit you if you

• Have 3+ years experience working as a frontend or fullstack developer.
• Have strong knowledge of React and TypeScript, and familiarity with GraphQL or similar technologies.
• Have experience writing APIs and backend. Especially in Node.js or Rust.
• Have experience developing SQL databases
• Have experience of agile and scrum.
• Are motivated to grow and learn.
• Have proficient knowledge of English.

While these qualifications represent our ideal candidate, we appreciate that individual skills and experiences may vary. This role may suit you if you’re an experienced frontend engineer interested in backend development, or a backend engineer interested in frontend development.
