Alvotech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join the ARD Potency and Binding team in Reykjavík.In this role, you will contribute to analytical method development, bioassay execution, and sample analysis supporting biosimilar and biologics programs across the R&D pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support mammalian cell culture work (required).

• Conduct bioassay method development, with experience in method qualification/validation preferred.

• Execute bioassays and ELISA for sample analysis; SPR experience is a plus.

• Contribute to potency‑related software evaluation and regulated documentation.

• Work in alignment with GMP and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• MSc in Life Sciences with 5–10 years of experience or PhD with 2–4 years in bioassays and R&D.

• Strong background in analytical method development within biopharmaceuticals.

• Technical expertise with relevant analytical platforms.

• Excellent organization, accuracy, and quality mindset.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
